Recreational Baseball Program
- The LBL’s Recreational League emphasizes baseball development for players to get the opportunity over a 8-10-game season to improve their skills week to week.
- Recreational teams are constructed by the LBL and are led by volunteer coaches who are trained to stress and facilitate player development over the season.
- Head coaches are screened and trained to ensure a safe and developmental, baseball experience.
- The Recreational League is dependent upon volunteer coaches to lead teams and community sponsors assist with keeping registration fees affordable and supporting the scholarship program.

- Players who turn 11 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
- Players 7 or 8 years old must have skills that exceed there appropriate age division.

- Players 9 or 10 must have skills that exceed there appropriate age division
14U: 11,12,13,14 year old's

Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Answer: Practices and home games are held on City of Longmont Fields.

*There may be possible games in Lyons or Estes Park. The older age groups 11-14U may travel within a 30 minute radius.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Answer: Teams practice 1-2 times per week. It is up to the coach to schedule practices that work for their schedule.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Example: Teams will play 8-12 games depending which age group. T-ball -Coach Pitch 8, will play eight games and 9-14U may play up to twelve games due to the end of season tournament.
Games are played Monday-Friday with the exception of the 9U-14U tournament On July 24th. July 25th is a rain out date.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Example: LBL provides a shirt and hat package for the players and volunteer coaches. Parents provide cleats, pants and belt. Ask your coach what color of pants.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Answer: Parents should provide equipment such as, a glove, batting helmet and bat.
