LBL RECREATIONAL LEAGUE
First baseball experience? Love playing ball but have other priorities like camping or Chemistry? Want to improve your game to play Competitive Baseball next season? Or, considering playing baseball for the first time after a Soccer career? The LBL offers a Summer, recreational baseball league for families new to baseball with little ones, older ones transitioning from other activities and everyone else who loves baseball but must balance playing time with other passions.
The LBL’s Recreational League emphasizes baseball development and players get the opportunity over a twelve-game season to improve their skills week to week. Recreational teams are constructed by the LBL and are led by volunteer coaches who are trained to stress and facilitate player development over the season. All coaches are screened and trained to ensure a safe and developmental, baseball experience. The Recreational League is dependent upon volunteer coaches to lead teams and community sponsors assist with keeping registration fees affordable and supporting the scholarship program.

2024 REGISTRATION INCLUDES
•The Recreational League is open to players five to eighteen years old (age on 4/30/24).
•Practices begin in May 6th and games begin on May 20th.
•The season concludes in July 19th with a tournament for age divisions 9-1, July 20th-21st.
•There is an All-Star Game *July 16th* for age divisions 9-14.
•Games are played weekday evenings and teams will have Saturday games when necessary.
•Each player is provided a uniform package with a cap and jersey.

Time Commitment
• Practice time:
1 hour once per week: Tee-ball - Coach Pitch 7 & 8 years old's
1.5 hours once per week: 9 years old -14 years old
• Game time:
1 hour time limit: Tee ball
1.5 hours: Coach pitch 7 & 8 year old's
1 hour 45 minutes: 9U- 14U
