Spring AA Competitive

This league is for teams who have competed in AA leagues or tournaments in CO or for teams whose physical skills and knowledge of the game are exceeding recreational play.

Triple A teams that would like to play must play up in an age group to keep competitive balance. 14U AAA may not participate or would need league approval.

Ex. 10U AAA plays in the 11U division. 12U AAA plays in 13U division, etc.

Outdoor Practice begins:

Where

Games will be played within a 50 minute range of Longmont.

Practices

Teams practice 2-3 times per week.

Games

12 game season (10 games & 2 game guarantee tournament during the week.) 

Must be prepared to play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays @ 5:30pm!


Jerseys

Teams must provide their own jerseys, hats, pants, etc.

Team Fees

Each teams head coach sets fees based on the league fee, uniform cost, indoor practice fees, and tournament fees.

Typically, coaches collect fees and pay the fees.

How much is a individual team fee?

  • Each team is different. Competitive teams can range from $600 to $5000.

How do I get on a team for fall ball?

  • Teams are created by an existing coach or organization outside of the Longmont Baseball League. Players that don't have teams must go to a tryout or be recruited by coaches/ orgs.


How do I get recruited or know where tryouts are?

  • There are several ways to get recruited or find tryouts. Fill out a free agent registration(button below) on our website or look on the same page to see if there are teams holding tryouts.
  • Inquire on Facebook page "Baseball Life in Colorado"
  • Get noticed at a baseball game and/or old fashioned word of mouth or asking around at the ballpark.


Does Longmont Baseball League hold tryouts?

  • No, the coaches hold tryouts. We simply help them reserve fields for tryouts.
