Single A Competitive
The Single- A league is for players and teams who have competed in REC leagues and exceled, who’s skills and knowledge of the game exceed recreational play, or for players/teams that have competed in Competitive leagues but found that the competition was a bit too difficult for their level. Single-A has been referred to as an “intermediate”, “semi-comp” or “tweener” league.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Answer:
9/10U: Must be 8, 9 or 10 years of age on April 30th, 2025
11/12U: Must be 10, 11 or 12 years of age on April 30th, 2025
13/14U: Must be 12, 13 or 14 years of age on April 30th, 2025
When
What time of the year does this program run?
Answer:
March 30th - June 7th 2025
Games Possible on: Friday evenings, Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
Field Dimensions
- 9/10U: Pitching 46 ft & Base 65 ft
- 11/12U: Pitching 50 ft & Base 70ft
- 13/14U: Pitching 54ft & Base 80ft
- Coaches can agree to play 60'6" pitching and 90' bases.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Answer:
Practices/Games for local Longmont teams will be at Sandstone Ranch, Clark Centennial Park and other satellite fields in Longmont.
Games may also be played in Niwot, Loveland, Johnstown area.
Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Answer: Teams practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Answer:
10 game season: This includes a single elimination tournament.
Games may be played on Friday evenings or Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Answer:
Teams are required to purchase a shirt with a number on it and hats. Players should provide there own pants, belt and cleats.

Pencil In: Free!
If you choose the "pencil in" option you must add a payment method to your account. You can't do that until we see your registration come through. It will be on your account in the "billing" tab; then "balances". You will be charged the fee on February 1st! If no payment method is on your account you are NOT enrolled! Pencil in option ends on February 1st.
