Eligibility & Practices
Ages
10U: 8-10 years of age
- Players who turn 11 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
11U: 9-11 years of age
- Players who turn 12 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
12U: 10-12 years of age
- Players who turn 13 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
13U: 11-13 years of age
- Players who turn 14 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
14U:12-14 years of age
- Players who turn 15 prior to May 1st, 2027 are not eligible
Practices
- March: 2-3 weekday practices
- April & May: 1-2 weekday practices
- June: 1 weekday practice
Teams that register/reserve first will have first dibs on practice times/dates. Register early!
Indoor Facility Space is available for $50/hour.

Where
Games will be played within a 50 minute drive of Longmont. Previous locations/towns have been:

Uniforms
Teams must provide their own jerseys, hats, pants, etc.
Gear
Teams provide batting equipment and catchers gear too. We do have catchers gear and batting helmets available upon request.
Skill Levels
All A and AA teams register here! Teams will be placed into divisions or matched with opponents that best suit their skill level and age.
This league is for teams that have competed in Single A or Double A leagues or tournaments in Colorado, or whose skills and knowledge of the game exceed recreational play.
- Teams that have regularly played in Triple Crown D1/D2, USSSA- AAA, CABA- AA Gold, CABA -AAA, or higher are likely not the right fit for this league.
AAA teams: Local AAA teams are welcome but must play up one age group to keep things competitive (e.g., 10U AAA plays in the 11U division, 12U AAA plays in 13U).
- 14U AAA teams need approval to play. Email director@longmontbaseball.org.
- 9U A, AA, AAA teams are welcome but will play in the 10U division.

How much is a individual team fee?
- Each team is different. Competitive teams can range from $600 to $5000 per player.
How do I get on a team for the spring season?
- Teams are created by an existing coach or organization outside of the Longmont Baseball League. Players that don't have teams must go to a tryout or be recruited by coaches/ orgs.
How do I get recruited or know where tryouts are?
- There are several ways to get recruited or find tryouts. Fill out a free agent registration(button below) on our website or look on the same page to see if there are teams holding tryouts.
- Inquire on Facebook page "Baseball Life in Colorado"
- Get noticed at a baseball game and/or old fashioned word of mouth or asking around at the ballpark.
Does Longmont Baseball League hold tryouts?
- No, the coaches hold tryouts. We simply help them reserve fields for tryouts.
